Going ‘green’ this fasting month
Centre for Environment, Technology and Development, Malaysia executive director Anthony Tan said sustainable living should compliment the virtues of the fasting month — humility and patience.
“If we’re looking into becoming a sustainable society, we must look into what we buy and our lifestyles carefully,” he said.
Remember, a rushed job never looks good
In early 2007, the Centre for Environment, Technology and Development Malaysia (CETDEM) presented a memorandum on a Comprehensive Malaysian Energy Policy to the then Minister of Energy, Water and Communications Tun Lim Keng Yaik, which called on the Government to review all existing policies related to energy.
