(吉隆坡29日訊)為使公眾更瞭解有機農業對健康的重要性,馬來西亞環境、工藝及發展中心(CETDEM)今早在孟沙武吉大城市(Bukit Bandaraya)社區中心舉辦第12屆有機日,並獲得不少公眾的支持,場面熱鬧。
(Kuala Lumpur, 29 June 2013) To enhance public understanding of the importance of organic agriculture to health, the Centre for Environment, Technology and Development, Malaysia (CETDEM) held the 12th Organic Day at Bukit Bandar Raya (Bukit Bandaraya) Community Centre in Bangsar, and received good public support, in a lively atmosphere.

    CETDEM Hari Organik, our signature event, was held on Saturday, 29 June 2013 in Bangsar.

500-1,000 visitors had come to the Pusat Komuniti Bukit Bandaraya in Bangsar.

    CETDEM Hari Organik, our signature event, will be held on Saturday, 29 June 2013 in Bangsar.

      Registration is now open for those who wish to be exhibitors in the 12th CETDEM Hari Organik.

    Please note that registration to participate as an exhibitor in this event will be on first come, first served basis upon receipt of payment. You may submit your registration and payment at CETDEM office in SS2 from Mon ~ Fri. from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm., Saturday : 9.30am ~ 12.30pm.

    Kindly read carefully before you sign the form. We look forward to your participation. Click on the image below to download the registration form, and you can either email the completed form to of@cetdem.org.my or fax to our office at 03-7875 4039.

    Deadline for submission of registration forms is 5 May 2013. Please be advised that a late registration penalty of RM50 will be added on for registrations received after the deadline.

    Indonesia must ratify haze treaty

Centre for Environment, Technology and Development, Malaysia (CETDEM) executive director Anthony Tan said nine Asean nations had signed the agreement in 2002, with the exception of Indonesia, which, ironically, houses the Asean secretariat.

The Solar Panel Financing scheme is a Feed-in-Tariff specific bank loan, a first in Malaysia. Truly one great leap for Renewable Energy development in Malaysia.

    Only most FiT-ting bid for RE production

Energy, Green Technology and Wa­­­ter Minister Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili said response to the solar photovoltaic (PV) segment of the Government’s Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) system – which pays consumers monthly for energy sent back into the national power grid – had been overwhelming since it was launched in 2011.

Dr Maximus spoke to reporters at the launch of Alliance Bank’s Home Complete PlusSolar Panel Financing scheme at the Sustainable Energy Development Agency (SEDA) office here.
