Datuk Dr Anwar Fazal of the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (Waba) received the award for MDG 4 (Reduce child mortality) while eminent environmentalist Gurmit Singh received for MDG 7 ( Ensure environmental sustainability).

The winners included the Economic Planning Unit under the Prime Minister’s Department; Health Ministry; the Joint-Action Group for Gender Equality; Datuk Dr Anwar Fazal of the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action; eminent environmentalist Gurmit Singh; the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme; and the Companies Commission of Malaysia.

The CETDEM Hari Organik 13 was held once again at the Padang Pusat Bandar SS2. The weather was kind and we had some nice cloud cover and a cool breeze throughout most of the morning.
We thank all the CETDEM volunteers who helped before, during and after the event. We also had a group of students from Berjaya University and staff of Standard Charetered Bank who volunteered at the CETDEM booths.
CETDEM Hari Organik, our signature event, will be held on Saturday, 5 Oct. 2013 in SS2 Petaling Jaya.
Registration is now open for those who wish to be exhibitors in the 13th CETDEM Hari Organik.
Please note that registration to participate as an exhibitor in this event will be on first come, first served basis upon receipt of payment. You may submit your registration and payment at CETDEM office in SS2 from Mon ~ Fri. from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm., Saturday : 9.30am ~ 12.30pm.
